 I was blessed to be able to take this journey between the unlikely pairing of a girl and a cheetah. This story flows so very well, it is a great and  exciting adventure. The book brings forward messages of self-esteem, empathy, and joy, in an atmosphere of love and diversity. This story is a fun read, for adults and  children of all ages. The story reads in rhyming verse from beginning to end, a real treat. In Summary, this book (with discussion ideas and other conversation initiators) , entertains, takes us on a journey- however most importantly is an open declaration of love to our human family

This is a wonderful book that teaches children an important lesson while telling a great story. The rhymes are fun to read, and children will love the songs. The journey of friendship between a girl and a cheetah is something that both young and old can relate to. A great mix of storytelling and teaching.

Jelly Beans the Cheetah and Hope is a beautiful book that grew out of the author's experience as a Rotary Safe Water & Sanitation Volunteer among the Barabaig Tribe in Tanzania, East Africa. A tender experience that recounts relationships - friends, family, and ties to the animal kingdom -- in poetic form, the author has produced a beautifully written and illustrated book with the help of young students whom she taught and mentored. It is wonderful book fill with empathy, embracing individual differences and acceptance. The book emphasize on the “Human Family” and what it means to love unconditionally regardless of cultural, race, gender, and in the case of the Cheetah, species. The story is informative, entertaining and heartwarming. Everyone can relate to the Cheetah, especially his quest to find where he belongs. This is an amazing book that can be read by parents to their kids, and by teachers to their students; I highly recommend it.

"Jelly Beans the Cheetah and Hope" is a wonderful book that will teach many children about the power of empathy and love. In this world today I think too many children lack the knowledge of empathy and this book will definitely help change that. I would highly recommend this book for teachers who want to teach their students a powerful message and for parents who want to read their children a wonderful bedtime story about love and empathy.

​“Jelly Beans the Cheetah and Hope” is such a rewarding book with a wonderful message for everyone. The beautiful, colorful illustrations are a real plus! But, best of all, the book’s message is easy to understand. The message encourages the reader to care and to understand that being different is "OK." A parent can read the book to a child in their early years and have fun discussing the story with him or her. And as the child grows, the book can be read by the youngster again and again...helping each young person continue to care about others and also believe in himself. I keep my book out on our coffee table...my kids and grand kids love it!
